Brno Wine Tasting

Have a wine tasting hen weekend in Brno and discover the delights of Czech wine. It's not all about the beer over here. Brno is in Moravia, the major wine region. The vast majority of the country's vineyards are here so it would be rude not to sample some of the local grape varieties. They do a mean Cabernet Sauvignon! Ladies, it's time to hit the good stuff.

A local guide will take you to a fantastic winery located just 20 minutes' drive from Brno city centre. On arrival, you'll be greeted by a sommelier who will explain some wine tasting terms, get you up to speed on the lingo and reveal how grapes are turned into lovely bottles of the fruity, flavoursome vino we all know and love.

Try reds and whites made with Moravian grapes and discover the differences between their aromas and flavours. Learn how to hold and swirl like a vintner. By the end of the session you'll be casually throwing around terms like acidity, aroma, earthy, elegant, flamboyant and flabby!

Have a giggle inventing silly wine tasting descriptions and finally find out how to read a wine label and order off a wine list with confidence.
