Planning a hen party in Budapest for a foodie who adores chocolate? Making her own chocolate bon-bons will put a huge smile on her face. A professional chef will teach you how to temper, fill and decorate these mini balls of goodness. You can eat as many chocs as you like during the class too. Bargain! Each person gets a goody box with six chocolates as a memento. What will you do with yours? Gift them to someone special or scoff ‘em on the sly?

Chocolate making classes are relaxed and informal. This is a hen party not home ec at school. Chef will give you a warm welcome and get you all in the mood with chocolate tasting. Watch and learn from the master and then have a go at working with melted chocolate. It's always good for a giggle and extremely messy. Pop a pinny on and get stuck in.

When your bon-bons have set, it's time to get creative! Personalise and make them pretty with all sorts of gorgeous edible decorations.

There's nowhere better to try chocolate making than Budapest. Hungary has a seriously sweet tooth and is famous for Rigó Jancsi, an indulgent chocolate mousse cake with rum and vanilla. Budapest's annual Chocolate and Candy Festival is held in Buda Castle for three days in September. If that's not a reason to have the hen do in September we don't know what is!
