Free Hen Party Games

Free means free! These hen party games are hilarious and they don't cost a penny. The golden rule is that no one buys anything. You have to use stuff you already have in the house.

This little lot should get the girls bonding, giggling and sharing secrets. Whether you're having a hen party at home or off on your jollies somewhere lush like Marbs, games are a must. Have fun!

Have You Ever?

Question based and very funny! You've got to be prepared to share a few secrets and make a couple of confessions but hey, that's what they invented wine for, right? This hen party game is totally free. All you need is a mixing bowl, a sheet of paper and some pens.

Who's ever been on a date and gone home with someone else? Who's thrown up in their handbag - or someone else's? Who's had a threesome? Who's tried something out of Fifty Shades of Grey? All will be revealed!

How it works:

  • Everyone writes five questions on separate scraps of paper
  • Fold each question up in a little square and pop it into the bowl
  • Each person picks a question and answers it
  • Keep it clean or pop a few shockers in there to get the girls bonding

Guess Who?

A right giggle and a great hen party game for breaking the ice if you've got people coming who don't already know each other.

How it works:

  • Get everyone to bring a picture of themselves as a baby or child, sealed in a blank envelope
  • Put the envelopes in a hat and mix them up
  • Get them out, open the envelopes and arrange the photos on a table
  • Try and guess who's who from the childhood photos

Crazy Cocktail Challenge

Can you create delicious cocktail using only ingredients you've already got in the kitchen?

How it works:

  • Everyone brings a bottle of something they've got in their fridge or kitchen cupboard, along with any other ingredients, like fruit for example.
  • Pair up and create your own signature cocktails
  • The hen judges the cocktails and chooses the winner

Fancy Dress Game

Get everyone to have a rummage in their wardrobes and give the hen a new look.

How it works:

  • Pick a theme - or freestyle if you want a really unique look!
  • Each person brings an item of clothing or jewellery from home that ties in with the theme
  • Dress the bride up and see what you get
  • Take photos (obvs.)
  • Wind her up by saying she has to go out in her amazing fancy dress costume

Hen Party Pictionary

Put a hen party spin on the classic game.  Another great ice breaker, and you can make it as clean or dirty as you want.

How it works:

  • Make a list of words, anything sex, hen party or wedding-related
  • Write the words on pieces of paper and put them in a bowl
  • Pair up or play in teams
  • Each team chooses their best 'artist'
  • That person picks a word from the bowl and has to draw a picture of it
  • The team has 2 minutes to guess the word
