Hen party activities have just taken a badass turn! Straight out of TV programmes like The Walking Dead we bring you an event guaranteed to bring out the Celine from Underworld in every girl, an Oxford Crossbows experience! That's right, girls. Give the bride an afternoon of shooting the weapon makes Daryl Dixon kickass.
You don't have to be masters of shooting weapons, you don't even need to have held one before to have a blast on a crossbow range. Easier, faster and stealthier than it's big sister archery, crossbows are the perfect blend of bow and gun. Get the girls out of the ultimate cocktail bar and get them down to the outdoor activity centre. It's only a short drive from the city centre and we promise the cosmos will still be there when you get back for your celebration round!

When you get to the range you'll be met by our brilliant event instructors. They'll get the girls confidence at its max before the session is over! You'll go through a simple safety briefing and instruction on how to operate, load, aim and fire a crossbow. When you've got the basics down, it's time for some fun! You'll have a round to practice your shot before heading into the competition round and that's where thing get interesting.
You won't be firing at your bog standard targets, ladies. The ones that we have for hen parties are reactive. They explode when hit, they pop up when you're least expecting it and they move along the range. It's the most fun you can have on a crossbow range, like mock warfare and it's brilliant. When you're done and the winner has been crowned, you'll have plenty of time to return to the city centre for a cocktail. Toast to the champion and plan your big night out in the bars and clubs around George Street and down those cobbled back alleys.
