More fun and relaxed than wine tasting, this session is run by a beer buff who's enthusiastic, entertaining and really knows his shiz! After a brief history of beer, he'll give you the lowdown on the whole brewing operation and teach you how to really taste each beer. The bar's in central 'Dam, so you won't have far to go from your accommodation.

If you walk away with a taste for Dutch beer, you'll have plenty of places to try more. Amsterdam has some great traditional pubs, which serve beer in every imaginable flavour, including cherry, chocolate and citrus.
