If you've done all the bog standard driving activities for a hen do and want something a bit different that'll give you a chance to try something new, check out the Bath Segway Experience. These two-wheeled monsters were made famous on movies like Paul Blart Mall Cop. You've seen him zoom around a shopping centre on one of these zippy machines, now it's your hen party's turn to try your hand at operating them.
You don't need any experience operating a Segway. This session is created with beginners in mind, and includes instruction on how to operate them. They're all-terrain, so that means that you won't just be driving on pavement. By the end of this you'll be whisking yourselves around a purpose built course, rife with obstacles and cheering when you bust through to the other side. It's a brilliant way to bond your hen party, get the party spirit pumping and have a bit of time under the sun on your hen do.
The activity centre is located just outside the city centre, so when you've finished you're only a short distance away from a round of celebratory cocktails with your favourite ladies. On the day, you'll meet at the venue and be welcomed by a friendly, professional instructor. They'll take you through a safety briefing and introduce you to the Segway. These unique vehicles have no pedals or steering wheel to speak of and are operated primarily on the way you move your body while aboard them. Lean left and you'll go that way, lean right and you're turning. Once you get the hang of it, it's a blast!
Once you've all got the basics down, test your mettle on the venues course. It features challenges like humps, bumps and inclines. See which of you can make it round the fastest and be crowned Queen of the Segway!
