If you fancy doing something completely different for your hen weekend, fencing will fit the bill. You'll need a cool head, a steady hand and lightning fast reflexes to outfox your opponent. Exhilarating and amazing fun, fencing is brilliant for brides up for a thrilling mental and physical challenge. You've seen the Three Musketeers. Now it's your turn to be a dashing blade.

A European champion fencer will show your group basic fencing skills. Discover how to advance, lunge, defend and parry, then get competitive during a round robin event. The sharpest swordswomen will go through to the semis, then the last two ladies standing will go toe-to-toe in a nail biting grand final. Can you control your opponent's blade? All will be revealed when the instructor shouts: ‘Allez!' and the final bout is on.

One of the more unusual, exciting activities on offer for hen parties, fencing is only available in certain cities, including Budapest.
