It’s the grown-up version of afternoon tea and all the ladies in your hen party are going to be counting the sleeps ‘til you’re on the M1 heading for Derby.
The girls are going to need some sustenance if they have any hope of making it around the dozens of bars, clubs and pubs of Derby city centre on a hen night. Make it more memorable than a takeaway but less filling than a big sit down dinner with this little beauty. We’ll take care of everything for you. Steps from the cathedral, a stone’s throw from some of the hottest places to get your groove on in the city is a popular restaurant serving up decadent dishes and mouthwatering cocktails. When your hen party arrives you’ll be shown to your reserved section and the drinks will start flowing. You’ll have the option to have two glasses of Prosecco each or two cocktails as you partake in afternoon tea. You’ll have a selection of finger sandwiches to nosh on with fillings like salt beef with pickle, antipasti, cheese and sundried tomato and smoked salmon rillette.
When you’ve had enough of the savoury, move onto the sweet. There’s the classic homemade scones with clotted cream and sweet jam, mini cakes and pastries, cherry and pistachio and cookie crumb profiteroles. When it comes time to head out you’ll be satisfied but not overfull, just what you need for a night of throwing shapes in the bars and clubs of Derby!
