UK Team FAM Trip to Nottingham

As part of the Off Limits team, we love to go on FAM trips to experience different activities and nightlife across various cities around the world. We think it’s important for us to go on these trips to ensure the accommodation, activities and meals are to the highest standard for our hen parties.

We were extremely excited about the FAM trip to Nottingham and it was the topic of conversation for the week discussing outfits, hair the usual. To top it off we were lucky enough to finish a little earlier than usual giving us time to get to the hotel and get ready – this went down well with all the ladies in the team.

Arriving at Jury’s Inn Hotel was a breeze, we sailed through check in and got straight into our beautiful 4-star spacious rooms perfect for all of us to get ready, our night had now officially started. The tunes were playing, and pre-drinks were flowing, we had to be ready by half 6. We all gathered in reception awaiting our taxi (we could of walked but our heels were too high for that) to our 2-course meal at Wildwood (we of course fitted in a cheeky bevy at the hotel bar). We were greeted by friendly welcoming staff taking us to our reserved table in the restaurant. We had already pre-ordered our food so the only thing we had to decide is the bottle of vino we wanted. At this point it is safe to say we were all ready to inhale our starters, having made sure we kept our appetites for the meal. We had a selection of starters from breaded mozzarella, calamari and our favourite starter of the evening a meat and cheese platter. The platter was incredible, especially the fresh bread we had alongside of it. Shortly after we had stuffed our faces with our starters and moved onto our second bottle of prosecco, our mains came out smelling amazing! Most of us had steak which was either a steak and cheese fillet sandwich or a perfectly cooked fillet steak, chips with a variety of indulgent sauces. The main dishes went down a treat with all plates looking licked clean at the end of our meal, we had successfully lined our stomach’s ahead of our wine tasting at Vino.

If you have never experienced wine tasting, then it is a definite must! We had such a great time learning but mainly drinking the different wines they had for us. Not to mention the amazing platter they brought out which complimented all the different wines we were tasting. As well as that we had tiramisu to finish, we demolished that too! Although we were all very full and satisfied from the 2-course meal at Wildwood it would have been rude not to eat the food that paired so well with our wine tasting. The staff were very professional and treated us with top customer service, their knowledge of the variety of wines was impressive and we all felt extremely comfortable with tasting the different types of wine and thought we were all experts at the end of it - that was for sure! Some of us are not big wine drinkers but they gave us the best wines for us to taste to ease us into the world of vino. Learning about the wines was fascinating for all of us and we will def recommend this activity.

After we had a belly full of wine and food there was only one thing left to do – and that was to go and dance and party until the early hours at the club Pryzm. We had the full works when we got there - a VIP booth which included drinks, a great location in the club & e-shisha. We were guided to our booth and given our drinks which of course included prosecco! We were in a prime location to be able to get our groove on, take selfies and socialise all night long, from here the night got wild and as you can imagine a little blurry. Pryzm itself was a great club for what we wanted from a night out, various genres of music, different rooms and a great mix of clientele. Our night was fabulous we partied until the early hours of the morning, not knowing what time it was or even if it was light outside (we hoped it wasn’t maccies brekkie time – big mac was needed). Back to the hotel and rest our heads ready for our full English breakfast in the morning! All hoping we will be able to demolish that too.

Breakfast was served until 10am, amazingly we made it. A few sore heads and full English’s later we sat round and went over the nights antics as you do! The breakfast was superb, all so fresh and filling – some of us we won't mention names could not stomach the breakfast due to self-inflicted symptoms, but they were extremely jealous of everyone else tucking into the class brekkie from the hotel.
