If the bride's a fan of Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games, she'll love taking part in an afternoon of Lincoln Archery on her hen weekend. The bride's final fling before the ring should be about more than the inside of the closest bars and clubs. Learn something new, blow off some steam and get rid of those pre-wedding jitters with an introduction to the Olympic sport!

Don't worry if some or all the ladies in your bride tribe have never even held a bow and arrow, let alone shot at targets! This session is geared for beginners, so everyone can take part. Just turn up, get stuck in and have a laugh with your favourite ladies. You never know, you just might find a new hobby while you're at it!

Lincoln is surrounded by glorious countryside; it'd be criminal if you didn't get a bit of fresh air and experience it for yourselves. The activity centre we work with is part of that stunning scenery, and when you arrive you'll be greeted by friendly, experienced instructors who are great with hen parties. They'll take you through a safety briefing first, teach you how to hold, aim, knock and arrow and show a bow properly before you do it on your own. Once you've got the basics down, then it's time for the practice round.

Make the most of your practice round, because it's preparing you for the challenge round. Which girl in your hen party will take the title of Archery Queen? Only one way to find out...step up to the line and take a shot!
