The instructors are great and will get you all into teams for the games. There's a prize for the winners, so the stakes are high. Paintballing turns rookie hens into military madams. Suit up, lock and load. Let's do this.

If you're looking for some real action on your Lisbon hen party, paintballing will do the job. This city and its surrounding areas have some of the best paintball arenas in Portugal. Leave Lisbon's yellow trams, hilltops and winding cobbled streets behind and charge around the countryside.

Choose your tactics carefully, ladies...

Dive behind stacks and pick off the enemy one by one. Capture their flag...but don't forget to protect yours! Whether it's a head-to-head showdown in the open or a covert, SAS-style operation, you'll need team work, speed and skill to win that prize.

When you've splattered, ducked, dived and rolled, return to Lisbon city centre for essential post-paintballing drinks. Do a debrief over custard tarts and coffee in Belem or pop off to Bairro Alto for cheeky afternoon cocktails. A great place for a hen party, Lisbon has a thriving bar scene so you'll have plenty of places to blow off steam when you've left the paintballing battlefield.
