If the bride loves those telly shows where everyday people take a box full of mystery ingredients and create a magical culinary concoction, she'll love taking part in Newcastle Ready Steady Cook on her hen weekend. Come on ladies, put your chef's hats on and let your creativity guide you!

We've partnered with a brilliant venue in Newcastle to host Ready Steady Cook. It's situated in a glorious 13th century property and is well appointed with everything you need to produce a culinary masterpiece.

People who love to eat are always the best people...

When you arrive at the venue, you'll be shown to private area of the restaurant that'll be your base for the team challenge. Your hen party will be greeted by a professional senior chef that'll split your bride tribe into teams and give you a brief on what to expect from the day.

Once you've got your bag of ingredients, it's up to your team to create something out of these bits. If the bride's a veggie, gluten-free or needs any other dietary specialisations, just let us know and we'll make sure the ingredients you get caters for your needs. Once the teams have created their entrees, the chef will judge them and announce the winners. Try your hardest because the winners get a bottle of bubbly at the end of the challenge!
