Reading Segway Experience

Take it up onto two wheels!

Ideal for a bride's final weekend of freedom, a Reading Segway Experience is a brilliant way to learn how to ride and race these unique vehicles. Split into teams and hit the slalom course on a gorgeous, green activity site just outside the city centre. Come on ladies, The Oracle will still be there when you get back into town!

Start with a bit of Segway training, have a little practice, then bring it on for the main event. Go head-to-head on the course an see who can get round in the fastest time.

Half the fun of the experience is learning how to ride a Segway. It's a brilliant activity for the Saturday of a hen weekend. Spend some time working out how to go forward, backwards, turn and stop. Segways are electric, but they're also self-balancing, which means your body movements control where they go. Lean to go forward and increase your speed. Twist the handlebar to turn. Sharpen your skills, then hit the slalom course. Have you got the skills to smash it? Relax, keep it smooth on the turns and give it some speed on the wide open stretches.
