York Battlezone Archery
From hen to huntress!
Archery is really good fun, but if you want to unleash your inner huntress, there's only one thing for it: York Battlezone Archery. It's the perfect activity for a weekend in a medieval city. Only this time, the game has been changed. Big time! You'll be shooting at each other rather than a bunch of boring old static targets. Enjoy a thrilling brush with danger minus the risk. The arrows you shoot with have been specially modified to absorb shock. Their ends have been rounded, and hard wood and flint swapped for rubber. You also get a load of protective gear so you can relax and let those arrows fly.
"Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow" - Fred Bear
Wedding jitters? Competitive games will soon sort those out! This is an organised event, not a free-for-all. The games are instantly recognisable ones from popular team events like dodgeball and paintball. Eliminators, chicken run, and taking out targets feature alongside a bunch of other fun stuff.
Archery is enjoying a renaissance. It's got loads of celebrity fans, including Eliza Dushku (Faith out of Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and the gorgeous Jessica Biel, who learned to shoot a bow and arrow like a badass for her role as Abigail Whistler in Blade: Trinity.
York Battlezone Archery is not your typical hen party activity. If you're planning a sendoff for an alternative bride who's more kickass than cute, this is the game to play.
